Isaiah 35:1

The wilderness and the parched land will exult;
the Arabah will rejoice and bloom.

Isaiah 35:1

East of Eden, the whole earth is parched and barren, thirsting for the vivifying stream of the Spirit of God. “For the vintage will fail, the fruit harvest will not come,” Isaiah prophesies, “Until the spirit from on high is poured out on us. And the wilderness becomes a garden land and the garden land seems as common as forest” (Isaiah 32:10, 15). Desiccation and decay will be vanquished by the blossom from the stump of Jesse. Conceived by the Holy Spirit in the womb of his fertile and fruitful Virgin Mother, the Messiah will rise from the tomb of death and live forever.
