And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.

By the precious blood of Christ,
we have been redeemed.

《四旬期， 第28天》
憑著基督的寶血，
我們已經得到救贖。
High upon Cross of wood
Hung the Son of God.
Each drop of precious blood
Fell on holy ground.
Taken down,
Unnailed with care,
Laid in Mary’s arms.
Heart grief bound,
None could compare.
Stabat Mater dolorosa
Iuxta crucem lacrimosa,
Dum pendebat Filius.
At the cross her station keeping,
Stood the mournful Mother weeping,
Close to Jesus to the last.
