One thing I ask of the Lord;
this I seek:
To dwell in the Lord’s house
all the days of my life,
To gaze on the Lord’s beauty,
to visit his temple.

One thing I seek:
to dwell in the house of the Lord.

  1. To dwell in the Lord’s house
    all the days of my life,
    To gaze on the Lord’s beauty,
    to visit his temple.
    Do not know that you are
    the temple of the Holy Spirit?
    Wherever I am, God is my companion,
    in joy and grief,
    during happy times or strife!
